Most travelers need a visitor visa to travel to Canada. You may also need one if you’re transiting through a Canadian airport to your final destination. A visitor visa (also called a temporary resident visa) is an official document that shows that you meet the requirements needed to travel to Canada
Here are some types of Canadian visas that we currently offer applications for:

What you need will depend on where you are from, how you are travelling, and what documents you are travelling with. In most cases, you now need to give your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) after you apply.
Transit visa
This is a type of visa that allows you to pass through a Canadian airport.
Visiting visa
This is a type of visa that allows you to stay in the country for a total of 6 months.

Visiting Visa
- Not be a Canadian citizen or be processing for citizenship in Canada
- Hold a valid passport
- be in good health
- have no criminal or immigration-related convictions
- A letter of invitation
- have enough money for your stay
The amount of money you will need depends on how long you will stay and if you will stay in a hotel, or with friends or relatives.

- Flight Itinerary to final destination
- Proof of Accommodation for the final destination
- Funds Available for Trip
- you’ll transit through Canada in 48 hours or less.
- you don’t have a valid visitor visa.
